COCKROACH TREATMENT PREPARATION GUIDELINES

IMPORTANT! We ask your co-operation by preparing your suite as follows:

KITCHEN:

Empty all cabinet both lower, upper and top.

Remove all foodstuff, dishes and utensils from the kitchen and food storage cupboards, drawers, counters, stove and fridge tops.

Place these items on the kitchen table and cover with plastic film, blanket or sheet.

You may bag your food but do not seal or tie bag.

Infested food product should be bagged and dispose in dumpsite bin.

BEDROOMS & LIVING ROOM:

Remove all items from floor, shelving areas, clothes, linen closets, storage areas and cupboards.

Place these items on the bed or on the floor in the center of the room.

Furniture should be moved 2 feet away from walls. Ensure clear access to heat registers and baseboards.

BATHROOM:

Remove all items from bathroom shelves, vanities and counters.

Place these items in the bathtub and cover with sheet.

CHILDREN'S TOYS:

Pick up and place in plastic bags or covered toy boxes.

STORAGE AREAS:

Ensure access to baseboards, walls and shelves.

RE-ENTRY TIME AFTER TREATMENT

24 HOURS IF WITH BABY 1 YEAR BELOW


NO PETS DURING TREATMENT - YOU MAY RETURN AFTER 4-6 HOURS

Upon re-entry to your premises, please ensure that all vanities and counter tops, cutting boards, fridges and stove tops are washed with soap and water prior to placing items back on them.

DO NOT VACUUM FOR 14 DAYS AFTER TREATMENT.

PLEASE NOTE:

Where pregnancy, allergies, illnesses or other unusual circumstances occur, occupants may be required to remain out of the premises for periods longer than those indicated above. Please consult your physician, Alberta Environment or our office at the above number should you require further information on safety.

Unprepared suites cannot be treated, Or might be charge for the technicians visit.
